What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Counter Clerk position at Furniture Enterprises of Alaska?
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented person to greet our customers and ensure a hassle-free pick-up of their furniture and mattress purchases. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth and development, with a schedule of three 8-hour shifts per week, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

• $21.00 per hour
• Part-time: 24 hours/week, 8 hours/day

Essential Functions
· Greet customers upon arrival
· Process customer orders and take payment
· Print labels for sold items to be prepped for pick-up
· Review scheduled pick-ups and partner with warehouse team to prepare orders in advance
· Answer phones and assist with basic customer inquiries
· Manage external and internal email inboxes
· Light housekeeping of customer load-out area
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug & alcohol screening
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Excellent organization, scheduling and time management skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook etc.)
