What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales Associate position at Furnish It?
Here at Furnish It, we're looking for honest, happy, hardworking individuals to join our team. Must be punctual, well kempt, know how to type and use a computer, and work well with others. As we are a small but growing business, the position will require wearing many hats and involves everything from sales and customer service to more physical aspects such as moving and lifting furniture or cleaning around the store, but primarily we are looking for somebody to help on our sales floor. Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required. Previous sales or furniture industry experience preferred but not necessary. Pay depending on experience, but for applicants without an extensive furniture or sales background, we generally start around $15 to $20 an hour plus bonuses with opportunities for raises & advancement shortly thereafter. Applicants with the right furniture sales or related experience may start higher with salary based pay rather than commissions. Position is full time 5 days a week.
