The Adjustor is responsible for ensuring the continuous, efficient, and high-quality operation of the labeling production line. This role involves maintaining mechanical components, adjusting equipment for optimal performance, performing line changeovers, and responding promptly to any line interruptions. The Adjuster will conduct regular quality checks, including print accuracy and label application, and ensure supplies such as corrugation are adequately stocked. Strong troubleshooting skills, accurate record-keeping, and effective communication with team members and other departments are essential for success in this role.
Education: High school diploma or GED required; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience / Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing with machine operation environment preferred.
- Prior experience operating automated or semi-automated machinery is highly desirable.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and troubleshoot basic machine operations.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, safety procedures, and instructions.
- Basic math and counting skills; able to maintain accurate records if required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Food safety is the responsibility of every employee. Any issues should be brought to the immediate attention of area supervisor of manager.
- Responsible for keeping mechanical aspects of the label line fine-tuned for continual non-interrupted flow of product
- Check and document proper cleaning of print heads and proper glue application.
- Responsible for maintaining supply of corrugation in Tray packer for a continual non-interrupted flow of production
- Respond quickly to line shutdowns and lend assistance to help start up again
- Be alert and ready to trouble shoot on the entire line
- Must be able to adjust all equipment on the lines for maximum smooth continual operation of the lines
- Must be able to make changeovers on the line
- Is responsible for checks after each new product is introduced on the line as well as constant periodical checks for quality of labeling, proper codes, and correct print on cases.
- Responsible for ensuring there is no damage being created on the line
- Must be able to proficiently operate all aspects of the line
- Must keep accurate records
- Any and all jobs assigned by supervisor

Work Schedule:
This position typically follows the hours of the shift scheduled to work; however, working days may vary based on season.
Typically, Monday through Friday. Very often Saturday. 12 hours Shifts may be required during busy times.

Salary: Up to $19.82
Earn Bonus Incentives:
2nd/3rd Shift Differential -$1.00 per hour
