Duties and Responsibilities: Painter
Individual must be able to work independently with little supervision. This
position is under general supervision and performs work such as preparing and painting buildings, equipment, furniture, and various other surfaces for this food
manufacturing facility and cannery. The role is responsible for work order completion of planned projects this position is to assist specialists at times
in the facility. Providing recommendations and solutions while bringing a positive attitude, good communication skills and team-oriented approach.

Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Prepare surfaces prior to painting.
- Hand brush or roll paint buildings, areas, equipment, furniture
and other surfaces.
- Determine type and kind of materials needed, time allowance
between coats and the number of coats required, adequacy of
surface preparation and areas to be painted.
- Apply primer, sealer and undercoats to walls and ceilings.
- Thin material to proper consistency and mix and match paints to
surfaces being painted.
- Set up scaffolding as needed.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
