Dog Daycare Attendant
- Responsibilities
- Supervise dogs of all different sizes and energy levels at play
- Monitor dog behavior and respond quickly to maintain safety and control of play groups.
- Feed and care for dogs throughout the day. This includes administration of medications.
- Clean up dog poop, urine and vomit.
- Walk dogs as needed, as well as other client add-ons.
- Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, common spaces, bathrooms, grooming room and lobby.
- Report health or behavior issues to management.
- Greet and assist clients with any check ins and check outs as needed.
- Support the team in maintaining standards and safety rules.
- Other duties as necessary.
Requirements
- High school degree or GED is preferred.
- 18 or older.
- Prior experience in a dog daycare/boarding facility is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Spend most of the day on your feet, both with dogs and maintaining the cleanliness standards of the business.
- Ability to lift up to 40-50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must love dogs and be comfortable working with groups of dogs at the same time.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt as necessary, coachable.
- Reliable and punctual, as well as flexibility in scheduling. This includes the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Willingness to maintain company standards and rules.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
