Fur & Feather Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Our mission is to protect and care for homeless and unwanted animals by providing medical care, rehabilitation, and adoption within a safe, no-kill environment.
We are committed to fighting animal cruelty, educating the public on responsible pet ownership, spay/neuter, and basic animal care, and supporting the rehabilitation of wildlife.
We have only just begun — and we need your support.
Our vision is bold to build California’s first fully solar-powered, 65-acre no-kill sanctuary, serving as overflow for city and county shelters while assisting traditional rescues with critical medical care and foster programs.
We are currently fundraising to purchase land and build safe, permanent homes where animals can heal, thrive, and live in healthy surroundings until they are adopted. This sanctuary will protect vulnerable lives and give every animal the chance to reach their full potential.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- A reliable self-starter who can take initiative, create content, and manage the social media calendar with minimal direction.
- Ability to create eye-catching posts, reels, and stories that spark engagement, drive traffic, and grow our community.
- A strong focus on fundraisinghelp us raise awareness and inspire donations for our mission.
- Availability to post at least 4 times a week, with content set up and scheduled in advance.
- Must be passionate about animal welfare!
- Curate and manage our social media content, ensuring posts go live consistently.
- Create engaging, compelling content that showcases the incredible animals we rescue, spotlight adoptable pets, and promote our fundraising efforts to provide life-saving care.
- Collaborate with the team to promote fundraising campaigns and special initiatives.
