Compensation: $75,000 base uncapped commission (OTE $150,000 ) | Full-time
Funtastic Rentals Inc. is a full-service event infrastructure provider based in Vacaville, CA, serving Northern California and large-scale statewide projects. We specialize in tents, staging, flooring, lighting, LED video walls, and power distribution for corporate events, festivals, government, and high-end productions.
We are hiring a Sales Manager focused on closing high-value projects and building long-term client relationships.
This is a performance-driven role designed for individuals who can sell complex, high-ticket event solutions.
This is not an entry-level position.
ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue Generation- Close large-scale event projects ($10K–$250K )
- Sell bundled solutions including tents, staging, flooring, AV, and power
- Manage the full sales cycle from inquiry to close
- Maintain margin discipline and avoid unnecessary discounting
- Serve as primary contact for corporate, venue, and event clients
- Build long-term relationships with planners, venues, and organizations
- Handle high-pressure timelines and complex requirements
- Translate client needs into accurate, executable quotes
- Work closely with operations and warehouse teams
- Review layouts, logistics, and site requirements
- Develop new corporate and venue accounts
- Build partnerships with event planners and production teams
- Proactively pursue high-value opportunities
- Minimum 3 years in sales with proven deal ownership
- Experience closing $10K transactions (must be verifiable)
- Strong negotiation and objection-handling ability
- Comfortable with performance-based compensation
- Ability to manage multiple high-value clients simultaneously
- Event rentals, AV production, or live events experience
- Background in B2B sales (corporate, production, infrastructure)
- Experience with quoting systems (Goodshuffle or similar)
- AutoCAD experience (preferred, not required)
- Base Salary: $75,000
- Commission (uncapped):
- 8% on gross profit up to $30,000/month
- 10% on gross profit above $30,000/month
- Monthly and quarterly performance bonuses
- On-target earnings: $150,000
- On-site role in Vacaville, CA
