Vinyl is the number one stylized vinyl collectible on the market, selling millions of figures to fans around the world.The Senior Manager, Analytics & Insights (DTC) is responsible for owning the data, analytics, and insight function within Funko’s Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business — spanning eCommerce, Retail, and Events.This role will serve as the analytical backbone of the DTC organization, ensuring that Funko’s Customer Data Platform (CDP) and broader reporting ecosystem drive growth, profitability, and fan engagement.
This Senior Manager, Analytics & Insights will partner closely with leaders across eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Retail, Events, and Operations to translate data into clear commercial opportunities and performance priorities. Optimally, the position is to able to distill complex data into actionable insight, guiding decision-making through opportunity cost modeling, growth validation frameworks, and performance storytelling that fuels cross-functional alignment.

What You’ll Do
- Own the DTC analytics and insights roadmap, ensuring alignment across eCommerce, Retail, and Events
- Leverage Funko’s CDP, BI tools, and data sources to build a unified view of customer behavior, lifetime value, and engagement
- Develop and operationalize opportunity cost models that quantify potential growth areas and guide prioritization across teams
- Partner with eCommerce, Marketing, and Retail leadership to translate insights into business actions that improve conversion, retention, and fan experience
- Design and maintain dashboards, weekly reports, and executive summaries that measure DTC performance, highlighting key growth drivers and risk areas
- Support forecasting and scenario planning for new growth initiatives, promotions, and channel expansions
- Champion data storytelling — simplifying analytics into compelling narratives that influence senior leadership decisions
- Validate and measure the impact of DTC initiatives against business goals (traffic, AOV, repeat rate, LTV, margin contribution, etc.)
- Collaborate with BI, Data Engineering, and Martech teams to evolve data quality, integration, and automation capabilities
- Mentor analysts and cross-functional peers to elevate data literacy and insight-driven thinking across the organization
- 6 years of experience in analytics, strategy, or insights within eCommerce, Retail, or Consumer Goods
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations
- Hands-on experience with CDPs, CRM systems, BI dashboards, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Amperity)
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, onsite conversion, customer segmentation, and lifecycle metrics
- Advanced analytical skills — comfortable with opportunity modeling, A/B testing, and revenue forecasting
- Excellent storytelling, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior leadership decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, or a related field (MBA or similar preferred)
