We are growing and adding a Retail Store Associate to the team. You will be an integral part of creating an outstanding experience at Funko’s new flagship location in Hollywood, CA. As an ambassador of the brand, our Sales Associates are enthusiastic, motivated team players passionate about pop culture and assisting customers through product knowledge, to guide and generate sales.

- Provide customers with a unique shopping experience by ensuring excellent customer service.
- Utilize effective selling techniques and provide in-depth product knowledge in a fast-paced, specialty retail environment.
- Aware of and accountable to store and individual sales goal
- Replenish merchandise; restocking, clean-up tasks as needed
- Builds strong relationships with customers to maximize customer loyalty
- Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services to gain sales
- Maintain a professional attitude; friendly demeanor
- Be knowledgeable of and perform sales support functions related to POS procedures
- Handle cash/register for sales transactions
Must-Have Superhero Gadgetry
- Three years of specialty retail sales experience
- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred
- Customer focus mindset
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management. Able to communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette
- Must possess ability to process merchandise through POS register system
- Maintain regular, dependable attendance & punctuality
- Possess basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Able to use a calculator. Must be able to calculate percentages and ratios
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and busy events around holidays and other events as required
- Demonstrate passion for the brand, products, services and solutions offered to our customers
Work Environment Requirements
The noise level in the work environment is moderate to noisy. While performing the duties of this Job, employee will be regularly required to stand for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally pull large pallets of product with a lift truck weighing up to 525 pounds.
