Perform transfers of deceased from place of passing, i.e., accident scenes, nursing homes, hospitals and residences. This is a very "hands-on" vocation that requires you to touch, lift and move decedents and demands a high level of physical fitness and emotional fortitude. This position is 12-hour shifts/five consecutive days per week during which time you are "on-call" to respond to transport dispatches during your designated shift. Shifts are either day (6:00am - 6:00 pm) or night (6:00 pm - 6:00 am). You take possession of a company vehicle during you shift and will be dispatched from your residence, our office or while on-the-road.

  • Receive dispatches, obtain necessary information and follow-through as required.
  • Handle human remains in a safe, dignified and professional manner.
  • Reside in the Denver metro area.
  • Have a valid drivers license and good driving record.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Available to work night, weekend and holiday hours.
  • Ability to follow directions, policies and procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be organized.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance in dress and grooming.
  • Able to perform some heavy lifting.
