We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support our occupational therapists in delivering exceptional care to pediatric patients. Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to support fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
- Engage children in creative, play-based therapy activities
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with therapists, families, and caregivers
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment
Skills
- Pediatric therapy techniques and interventions
- Knowledge of sensory integration and sensory processing disorders
- Fine motor and gross motor skill development
- Experience with developmental delays and disabilities
- Ability to implement individualized treatment plans
- Play-based therapy and child engagement strategies
- Strong communication with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Behavioral management and positive reinforcement techniques
- Documentation and electronic medical records (EMR) proficiency
- Time management and organizational skills
- Adaptability and problem-solving in a clinical setting

- Collaboration with Occupational Therapists and healthcare staff
