Job Summary
The Physical Therapy Aide plays a crucial role in supporting physical therapists in delivering exceptional care to patients. Duties
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Prepare treatment areas by cleaning and organizing equipment and supplies.
- Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks under the supervision of licensed staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as required.
- Ensure patient safety during therapy sessions by monitoring equipment and surroundings.
- Provide excellent patient service by greeting patients, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow in the clinic.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
- Experience or familiarity with geriatrics, orthopedics, inpatient care, or acute care settings is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of physiology to support treatment processes effectively.
