With the recent completion of an $11 million redevelopment project, the community now offers a new memory care center, wellness center with pool and locker rooms, bistro and dining room, common areas, new assisted living apartments, parking garage and much more. Your Role as an Occupational Therapist
As an Occupational Therapist at Covenant Living of Turlock, you will:
- Evaluate and Assess: Conduct screenings and evaluations to determine residents' functional status and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop Treatment Plans: Create personalized treatment programs aimed at enhancing residents' independence and quality of life.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes.
- Educate and Empower: Provide training to residents, families, and staff on adaptive techniques and equipment to promote independence.
- Document Progress: Maintain accurate and timely records of residents' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Bachelor's, Master’s or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
- Certification and licensure requirements as established by state and national board associations.
- Active state license
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
