We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Functional Medicine practice in beautiful North Idaho. Our clinic has a substantial waitlist of patients seeking care, creating an exciting opportunity for the right provider to step into an established and rapidly growing practice.
About the Position
The clinic accepts several private insurance plans and also has a large percentage of cash-pay patients. The schedule offers considerable flexibility with 3 days/week of clinical hours considered full time. Telemedicine is sometimes an options once the provider is established and are able to be conducted from the provider’s home.
We are looking for a provider who is motivated, positive, energetic, and passionate about helping patients achieve better health. The ideal candidate will value and model a health-focused lifestyle and enjoy developing meaningful, long-term relationships with patients.
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner with the ability to obtain and maintain licensure in the state of Idaho
- At least 2 years of clinical practice experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Completion of training or current enrollment in Integrative or Functional Medicine Certification is helpful. However, we are happy to support and invest in Functional Medicine training for the right candidate.
- Strong interest in root-cause medicine and individualized patient care
- A specific area of clinical interest or niche is welcomed and encouraged
Areas of Focus
The clinic commonly works with patients experiencing:
- Hormonal imbalances
- Blood sugar and metabolic concerns
- Digestive disorders
- Chronic fatigue
- Environmental toxicities, including mold and mycotoxin exposure
- And many other chronic and complex health concerns
If you have a particular clinical niche or area of expertise, we would love to explore how you could incorporate that interest into your practice.
Compensation & Flexibility
Compensation is percentage-based on collections from office visits and supplement sales.
This position offers considerable flexibility and the opportunity to develop a schedule and patient population that fit your individual needs, interests, and professional goals.
Full time benefits provided at three days/week of clinical hours. Benefits include health insurane and IRA with employer match.
