Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hyperbaric Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining hyperbaric oxygen therapy equipment, ensuring patient safety, and providing exceptional care during treatment sessions. Duties
- Prepare hyperbaric chambers for patient treatments, ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly and safely.
- Monitor patients throughout therapy sessions, observing vital signs and responding promptly to any adverse reactions.
- Operate hyperbaric equipment according to established protocols and safety standards.
- Assist in patient positioning, education, and comfort during treatment procedures.
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and cleaning of hyperbaric chambers and related devices.
- Document treatment details accurately in patient records and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries during therapy sessions.
Requirements
- Experience in clinical or emergency medical setting
- Prior experience working with hyperbaric chambers or in a clinical setting is advantageous but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Strong understanding of oxygen therapy procedures, safety protocols, and emergency response techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety standards.
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 27.0 per week
