We are a movement-based strength & conditioning studio. Our unique model of 10 clients and 2 cosches allows us to find the balance of group and intimate coaching. Everyone of our clients gets paired with a coach for 1on1 check-ins to cover nutrition, mobility and off day programming!
Role Description
This is a part-time start into a full-time on-site role for a Personal Trainer at Functional Lifestyles, located in Palo Alto, CA. The Personal Trainer will be responsible for designing and implementing personalized fitness programs, conducting one-on-one and group training sessions, and providing guidance on nutrition. The trainer will also lead training and coaching sessions. The role focuses on helping clients achieve their fitness goals, maintaining a safe and effective workout environment, and tracking client progress regularly.
Qualifications
- Skills in Personal Training and Fitness Instruction
- Experience in Strength & Conditioning, Mobility & Rehab
- Knowledge of Nutrition
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients
- Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification from a recognized institution is a plus
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial
