The Industrial Engineer is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes to increase productivity, reduce waste, and ensure operational excellence.
The impact you’ll make- Conduct time studies to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to implement process changes that improve throughput, reduce waste, and optimize labor utilization.
- Analyze production data and recommend best practices.
- Collect and summarize production efficiency data for Engineering and Production.
- Aid in creating layouts for optimal process and material flow.
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Aid in new equipment procurement.
- Participate in Lean Six Sigma Process
- Attend and contribute to team meetings.
- Provide information and support to FDI team members.
- Communicates and represents the organization to customers and other external sources.
- Establish and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships.
- All other duties as assigned.
- BA or BS in applicable Engineering discipline.
- Advanced knowledge of production analysis techniques required.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma Process
- Knowledge of industry machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
