The Delivery Specialist is responsible for ensuring a seamless and informative experience for customers receiving their new RVs. This role involves conducting detailed walkthrough demonstrations of RV features, guiding customers through accessory recommendations, and ensuring proper hitch setup and towing procedures. The specialist is also responsible for inspecting incoming units, maintaining a clean and organized delivery area, and ensuring all scheduled deliveries are ready for transfer. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment are essential. This position requires availability on nights and weekends and basic proficiency with computer systems.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive walkthrough demonstrations of all interior and exterior RV features, ensuring customers understand proper operation, including filling and emptying holding tanks
- Guide customers through CampTown Outfitters, recommending and selling accessories tailored to their specific needs
- Perform and demonstrate proper hitch setup for travel trailers and ensure correct coupling procedures for fifth-wheel deliveries
- Educate customers on the proper operation of their installed brake controllers for safe towing
- Ensure the safe departure of the tow vehicle and attached RV from the delivery pad
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery area, including proper stowage of power cords, dump hoses, and removal of any trash or debris
- Ensure RVs scheduled for delivery the next business day are prepared and transferred to the designated delivery pad
- Participate in daily department opening and closing procedures as outlined in company policy
- Perform functional and visual inspections of new units arriving from the factory and maintain accurate documentation
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- High school diploma or GED required; one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred
- Professional and customer-friendly demeanor
- Strong communication skills
- Availability to work nights and weekends
- Basic computer proficiency, including Google Mail, Sheets, Docs, Calendar, Internet software, and Sys2K (Dealer Management Software)
- This position requires regular standing, walking, hand use, reaching, and communication
- Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, and activities like stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling are also required
- Vision requirements include close, peripheral, and depth perception, with the ability to adjust focus
