Position Overview
As a Hot Tub Service Technician / Valet, you’ll be responsible for ensuring customer hot tubs are clean, safe, and functioning at their best. This includes routine cleaning, vacuuming, balancing water chemistry, and conducting inspections to spot and resolve potential issues. No prior hot tub repair experience? No problem. We provide full training for candidates who are mechanically inclined and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and vacuum hot tubs; check and balance chemicals.
- Inspect equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Perform repairs as trained and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues (pumps, heaters, filters, jets, etc.).
- Enter accurate technician notes, parts, and labor into the computer system.
- Maintain neat, organized, and professional work areas at customer homes.
- Manage service work orders and ensure parts are ordered when needed.
- Keep vehicles, tools, and equipment (trucks, pumps, vacs, hand tools, etc.) clean and in good working order.
- Conduct regular vehicle inventory counts to ensure parts accuracy.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools required.
- General knowledge or willingness to be trained in hot tub repair, water care, and troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Professional communication skills for customer interactions.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license (minimum 3 years) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous hot tub, spa, or pool service experience is a plus, but not required.
