As we continue expanding, we are hiring an Architectural Engineering Estimator who brings both technical accuracy and creative insight to support our design, engineering, and construction teams.

Position Overview
We are seeking an Architectural Engineering Estimator to lead the structural planning, project estimating, and technical development of outdoor living projects. This role combines architectural engineering, cost estimation, and field coordination.
You will collaborate closely with sales, design, and construction teams to ensure every project is accurately estimated, structurally sound, code-compliant, and buildable.
This job requires daily onsite engagement, field evaluations, team collaboration, and no remote work flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural and structural plans for outdoor living spaces.
- Create accurate cost estimates for decks, porches, pergolas, patios, retaining walls, hardscapes, and more.
- Generate permit-ready drawings for residential outdoor structures.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning requirements, and HOA standards.
- Conduct onsite assessments to evaluate foundations, drainage, materials, and constructability.
- Collaborate with project managers, field crews, and subcontractors to solve design and engineering challenges.
- Assist with material selections, specifications, and pricing accuracy.
- Maintain organized documentation, revisions, and project records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in residential or light commercial construction (outdoor-focused experience a plus).
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, Chief Architect, SketchUp, etc.).
- Strong understanding of structural design for decks, pergolas, masonry, and outdoor environments.
- Experience with construction estimating and material takeoffs.
- Knowledge of IRC/IBC codes and local permitting processes.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Must work onsite— no remote or hybrid options.
