Role Description
This is a part time on-site role located in North Vancouver, BC. The Logistics Sales Manager will be responsible for devising and executing sales strategies to attract and engage clients, manage shipping and logistics operations, and foster relationships with key stakeholders in the supply chain. Day-to-day tasks include identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, establishing partnerships, and managing sales pipelines. The Logistics Sales Manager will also analyze market trends and customer needs to develop tailored solutions for clients, aiming to optimize their logistics processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, supply chain management, freight forwarding, and shipping services
- Proven sales, business development, and relationship management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
- Leadership experience and ability to mentor and manage team members
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced on-site environment and adapt to customer requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Prior experience in logistics, freight, or transportation sales is an advantage
