Overview

We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and motivated Aqua Aerobics Instructor to lead fun, safe, and effective water-based fitness classes. The ideal candidate will inspire participants of all fitness levels to achieve their wellness goals while ensuring a welcoming and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Class Instruction

   • Plan and deliver dynamic, and safe aqua aerobics sessions.

   • Adapt exercises to accommodate varying fitness levels and special needs.

   • Incorporate music and rhythm to enhance the workout experience.

2. Participant Engagement

   • Build rapport with participants to foster a sense of community.

   • Provide encouragement and feedback to improve participant performance.

   • Educate participants about the benefits of water-based exercises.

3. Safety & Maintenance

   • Monitor participants during class to ensure proper technique and prevent injury.

   • Enforce safety guidelines and pool rules at all times.

   • Inspect and ensure all equipment is in good working order before and after each session.

4. Program Alignment

   • Ensure classes align with the curriculum provided

5. Administrative Duties

   • Maintain accurate attendance records.

   • Communicate with facility staff regarding pool schedules and maintenance needs.

   • Promote upcoming fitness programs and events.

Qualifications

• Certifications:

  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification (Required).

  • Aqua Aerobics or Group Fitness Instructor certification (Required)

• Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience leading fitness or aqua classes is a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to motivate and inspire participants.

• Physical Requirements:

  • Comfortable working pn deck in the heat extended periods.

  • Ability to demonstrate exercises in a pool setting.
