What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver for young adult woman position at Fultz Family?
Job Summary
Seeking female caregiver for my 22-year-old daughter. We are primarily looking for someone to cover weekday evenings (5 PM with variable ending time, anywhere from 8 to 10 PM), but there may be some daytime hours available too.
My daughter is autistic and has mental and physical health issues. She is intelligent and doesn't have aggressive behaviors. She spends most of her day doing arts and crafts.
She has a ball python as a pet. He is docile, non-venomous, and doesn't bite. He sleeps during the day. His water bowl needs to be refilled and you may have to put him back in his tank if she gets him out and is unable to put him back herself.
She has a CIH Medicaid waiver, but we are doing self-directed care so we are hiring staff directly. Staff will need to onboard with Palco, which is the company Indiana uses to pay direct support staff. We pay $18/hr out of pocket during the onboarding process; after onboarding, pay is $20/hr.
