What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leader Teacher position at Fulton County YMCA?
Leader Teacher Qualifications:
REQUIRED DOCUMENT(S): College degree/Transcripts, OR Child Development Credential, AND Resume (w/ALL supervisory & childcare experience)
- AAS in Child Development, Elementary Ed., Physical Ed., Recreation or related field with no prior experience OR Child Development Associate Credential WITH one (1) year prior experience OR 9 college credits in Child Development, Elementary Ed., Physical Ed., Recreation or related field WITH two (2) years direct experience working with children under the age of 13.
- Ability to plan, organize and implement age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities.
- Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting preferred.
- One (1) year of experience in a supervisory capacity required.
