Status Hours: Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly
Shift: Flexible hours, may include occasional nights
Includes: Every other weekend & holiday rotation

Job Summary:
Fulton County Health Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Food & Nutrition Services Supervisor to lead our Food & Nutrition Services team. This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing daily activities, ensuring food safety and quality, maintaining proper food storage, and supporting our staff in creating a safe and efficient environment. Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations: Direct daily activities of the food services department to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Staff Scheduling & Support: Review and manage staffing schedules, addressing any issues or gaps in coverage.
- Food Safety & Quality: Maintain food production standards in line with health policies, ensuring food is safe and high-quality.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate weekly inventory records and place orders as needed to ensure consistent food production.
- Menu Adherence: Ensure all food items are served according to menu specifications, following FCHC policies and procedures.
- Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a clean, sanitary environment in the department, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Employee Development: Train and mentor food services staff, fostering teamwork, growth, and morale.
- Maintenance & Equipment: Maintain logs for necessary equipment maintenance, perform preventative checks, and recommend equipment replacements as needed.
- Log Management: Ensure all food safety/temperature logs are accurately completed with corrective actions taken when necessary.
- Catering Support: Stay informed of daily catering events, ensuring timely preparation and delivery.
- Flexibility: Fill in for absent employees as needed and adjust to changing duties or schedules.
- Communication: Attend staff meetings, maintain communication with the team (via email, phone, or other internal communication tools), and promote positive public relations.

Requirements
- Physical Requirements: Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Certifications & Education:
-Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Registered Dietetic Technician (RDT) required.
-Associate degree in Food Service Management or Dietetic Technician program from a two-year college or
equivalent experience.
- Experience: Proven experience in food service management or related field, with strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work occasional night and weekend shifts as needed.
