Department: Emergency Department
Status Hours: Part-time, 36 hours bi-weekly
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Includes: Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation
Job Summary:
Fulton County Health Center is seeking a dedicated Health Care Tech to join our Emergency Department team. In this role, you will provide clerical support and assist with patient care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will work with patients of all ages, gathering data through observation and reporting it to the RN, assisting patients with daily living activities, and supporting clinical staff during procedures as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clerical services to support the nursing unit.
- Collect data through observation and instrumentation, reporting findings to the RN.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Support clinical staff in various procedures as appropriate for patient care.
Requirements
Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.
- Enrollment in an accredited nursing school with at least one semester of clinical rotation completed.
- Medical Assistant certification.
- EMT licensure.
- Previous work experience demonstrating the skills necessary for this role.
Additionally, CPR certification (BLS for healthcare providers) is required.
