Job Summary:
The Director of Marketing is responsible for planning, directing, developing, and implementing the marketing strategies of Fulton County Health Center (includes hospital, long term care, independent living, provider offices and retail pharmacy) services. The individual will be responsible for brand building, managing budgets, analyzing market campaign performance, and collaborating with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directs and implements the organization’s advertising and promotional activities.
- Establishes marketing goals to ensure market share growth and service profitability.
- Maintains and develops the organization’s website and online presence.
- Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity.
- Plans and oversees advertising and promotional activities across print, electronic, direct mail, and social media outlets.
- Coordinates with outside advertising agencies on campaigns.
- Works with writers and artists, overseeing copywriting, design, layout, and production of promotional materials.
- Ensures marketing objectives are achieved within designated budgets and implements corrective action when necessary.
- Evaluates market reactions to advertising programs, promotional strategies, and branding initiatives to ensure timely adjustment of marketing plans.
- Recommends organizational or structural changes within the marketing function to improve effectiveness and responsiveness to opportunities.
- Conducts marketing surveys on existing and new service concepts.
- Prepares reports on marketing activities and outcomes.
- Ensures compliance with laws and organizational policies through training, guidance, and oversight.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
- Five or more years of related experience in healthcare industry is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database programs.
- Familiarity with common graphics and design software.
- Ability to research, design, produce, and distribute promotional and educational media.
