FullStory’s mission is to help teams create amazing online experiences for their customers. We do this by applying deep expertise in distributed systems and computer science to build an ambitiously high-scale and high-value platform. The work environment we've cultivated is aligned around our three watchwords: clarity, empathy, and bionics. We value high-quality/low-ego collaboration and use automation to eliminate toil in daily work. If that sounds good to you, join us!
As an intern for summer 2022, you will work with one of our engineering teams to build new features for our product. Along the way, we’ll teach you tips and tricks about working in the industry and building production-ready code. You’ll be paired with a buddy to receive career advice and meet numerous FullStorians across the company including our founders. Lastly, we’ll have some fun adventures along the way (we love our board games).
Day to day, you'll:
- Discover how to apply the engineering skills you’re learning in school in a real life production environment
- Develop quality code and robust test suites
- Launch and deploy changes to production environments
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is either:
- A rising senior currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program
- Currently enrolled in a training program focused on software engineering or related field
- Has experience with a major coding language such as Python, Java, Go, or Javascript.
- Has a plan to pursue a career in software development. Open to accepting a full-time return offer and starting within a year of the internship.
- Is available for a full-time (40 hrs/week) 12-week intern position between May 16th - August 5th 2022. Internship period will include paid federal holidays, but applicants should not plan any other significant time off during the 12 week working period.
It would be amazing if:
- You’re entrepreneurial and enjoy solving problems; you don’t always wait to be asked to do something if you see you can help
- You want to work collaboratively with a team, learning pair programming and being accountable to assigned deadlines and action items
- You’re comfortable asking questions to truly understand assignment and issues as well as comfortable proposing solutions
- You love feedback and are receptive to guidance and best practices that senior engineers provide to level up your game
Benefits and Salary:
- $22K for the 12 week program
- $3K housing stipend
- Remote or in Atlanta office
