We’re looking for dependable and detail-oriented Weighers to join our team in Irwindale, CA! As a Weigher, you’ll be responsible for accurately measuring and preparing ingredients used in mayonnaise production, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch.
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $17.50/hr.
Industry: Food Manufacturing (Mayonnaise Production)
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Accurately weigh and measure raw materials according to production formulas.
- Verify ingredient quantities and record weights on batch sheets.
- Ensure materials are labeled correctly and staged for processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized weighing area.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Assist in inventory control by reporting low stock or discrepancies.
- Work closely with the processing team to ensure timely production flow.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or weighing preferred.
- Strong math and measurement skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
