Job Summary: As an Assistant Room Carpet Operator at our facility, you will play a crucial role in the production and quality control of our carpets. Your responsibilities will include assisting in operating machinery, monitoring production processes, and ensuring that our carpets meet high-quality standards.
Location: Wilkes Barre, PA
Work schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18-25/hr.

Job Description:
- Assist in setting up and operating machinery used in the production of room carpets.
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure efficient production and detect any deviations from quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of carpets to verify color, texture, and overall quality.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving minor issues with machinery to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the production process.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
- Basic understanding of machinery operation and maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward learning and development.
