We’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced agricultural environment.Pay Rate: $17.00/HRShift: 1st/2nd Shift Location: Firebaugh, CABenefits: Medical, Dental, AD&DJob ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor pistachio huller machinery to ensure efficient and accurate hull removal.Adjust equipment settings to maximize throughput, cleanliness, and product quality.Inspect incoming loads for foreign materials, moisture levels, and overall product condition.Communicate with the Harvest Team and forklift operators to maintain consistent production flow.Perform routine equipment checks, including belts, rollers, water systems, and dehulling components.Track and report throughput, downtime, and quality concerns.Clean, sanitize, and maintain hulling equipment daily in compliance with food safety standards.Identify and report mechanical issues promptly to maintenance personnel.Follow all GMPs, PPE requirements, and safety procedures at all times.QualificationsPrevious experience operating pistachio or nut-processing equipment preferred, but not required.Basic mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot minor issues.Ability to work extended hours during harvest season, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Comfortable working in outdoor, dusty, and noisy environments.Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.Preferred ExperienceBackground in agricultural processing (pistachios, almonds, walnuts, etc.).Familiarity with automated or semi-automated hulling systems.Understanding of harvest operations and quality control checkpoints.Fair Chance Hiring StatementFull Steam Staffing will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act.
