Assistant Oprator

We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Assistant Operator to support daily production operations at our facility in Scranton, PA. The Assistant Operator will assist machine operators, perform material handling, and ensure smooth workflow on the production floor.

Assistant Operator

Location: Scranton, PA

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist machine operators with daily production tasks and equipment setup
• Load materials into machines and ensure adequate supplies for production runs
• Monitor production processes and assist with adjustments as needed
• Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and consistency
• Maintain clean and organized work areas following company safety standards
• Perform basic machine cleaning, tool changes, and routine maintenance support
• Record production data and report operational issues to supervisors
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or machine operation experience preferred
• Ability to follow written instructions and work safely
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs when required
• Reliable and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
