The Finance Intern will support and assist the Finance team with a variety of activities, including financial reporting, financial data analysis, budgeting and forecasting support, and exposure to core accounting processes.
This role is designed to provide hands-on learning through supervised, real-world finance work while gaining exposure to multiple functions and levels within the Finance team.

The Finance Intern will support and assist the Finance team with a variety of activities, including financial reporting, financial data analysis, budgeting and forecasting support, and exposure to core accounting processes.
This role is designed to provide hands-on learning through supervised, real-world finance work while gaining exposure to multiple functions and levels within the Finance team.
Essential Functions
- Help develop reports and analyses to provide better understanding of how financial decisions impact financial performance. Prepare data and supporting analyses that contribute to management-level decision-making.
- Provide support for annual budgeting and forecasting processes. Gain an understanding of department trends and growth to support the forecast model.
- Assist with establishing reporting dashboards using financial and non-financial data. Review data with guidance to identify opportunities, anomalies, trends, and other relevant items that may impact performance of the business unit.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations with review by a full-time team member.
- Assist in preparing journal entries and general ledger postings.
- Assist with data entry, financial record-keeping, and account reconciliations.
- Support the Finance and Accounting team on additional projects as needed, with appropriate guidance and review.
- Actively working toward Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
- High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, as well as working knowledge in Microsoft Office
- Highly motivated with a desire to learn and take on new challenges.
