The Senior Account Representative is responsible for driving advertising and sponsorship sales in key target markets including Aerospace, Defense, Electronics, and Automotive. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of digital and magazine media, and the ability to create cross-platform advertising packages that deliver measurable results. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Build relationships with major advertising clients and agencies located throughout the United States Pursue new business opportunities to grow sales in key markets, particularly Aerospace & Defense Create advertising and sponsorship packages across digital, virtual event, and magazine platforms to achieve client goals Manage the full sales cycle -- from prospecting and proposals to contract negotiation and campaign analysis Collaborate with marketing, content, and creative teams to deliver custom ad solutions Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets Stay current on industry trends, new sales tools, and emerging media technologies Ideate with fellow members of the sales team and management to develop new opportunities for our customers and audience Monitor campaign performance and provide clients with insights and recommendations for optimization MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or related fields 10 years advertising sales experience in engineering, technology, or scientific markets A proven track record of growing accounts and revenue Ability to travel to client meetings and industry events (up to 30%) Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and PowerPoint Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities Excellent verbal and written communication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Social media skills Familiarity with ChatGPT or other AI tools WORKING CONDITIONS: This position is fully remote Maintain a private, dedicated workspace free from distractions. Use reliable high-speed internet and company-approved devices for all work activities. Be available during agreed business hours and reachable on company platforms for meetings and communication. Follow all company policies, including data security and code of conduct, even when remote.
