Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of experience across various trades, including carpentry, masonry, roofing, welding, and more. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to restoration and remodeling, utilizing a wide array of tools and techniques. The Tradesman will be responsible for executing high-quality work that meets safety standards and project specifications, contributing to the successful completion of construction projects.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project requirements.
- Perform a variety of construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, stucco application, concrete finishing, tile laying, and flooring installation.
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Install doors, cabinets, glass, trim carpentry elements, and perform roofing and masonry work as needed.
- Apply caulking, plastering, painting, and restoration techniques to enhance project finishes.
- Manage site safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations during operations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, welding, or remodeling.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and blueprint reading.
- Ability to perform concrete forming, finishing, plastering, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and glass or cabinet installation.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites and ability to operate within OSHA guidelines
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces. Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
