Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate construction projects on-site. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard management and scheduling software. This role involves supervising construction teams, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and managing project timelines to deliver successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction crew to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project plans.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and enforce safety protocols across the job site.
- Manage project contracts, scope of work, and change orders in collaboration with project manager.
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets specifications and standards.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to meet deadlines and financial goals.
- Train and mentor team members to improve skills and ensure high performance on-site.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles including project scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and contract administration.
- Experience in construction site supervision with a proven track record of managing teams effectively.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Supervising experience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Managing project scope changes.
