Requirements / Qualifications
Please submit the online application and attach the following: •Letter of interest, attention Mark Miller, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources •A current resume outlining relevant experience •Three (3) Letters of Recommendation - Within 3 Months •All valid credentials (snapshot of credentials from Commission's website at www.ctc.ca.gov - Do NOT ATTACH CREDENTIAL CERTIFICATE ) •Education Specialist credential authorizing MODERATE/SEVERE authorizations; Case Carrier experience preferred •Any test scores: i.e., CSET, CBEST, CTEL •All unofficial transcripts, including those validating conferral of MA/MS, if applicable (attached to application) •Official transcripts to be submitted upon hire
A Moderate/Severe assignment may include any or all of the following: •Assisting with student hygiene (such as toileting and diapering); •Aggressive student behaviors (acts of physical aggression, self injurious acts, property damage, & other pervasive or maladaptive behaviors); •Lifting, positioning, and/or pushing students in wheelchairs with orthopedic disabilities; and •Feeding students with orthopedic disabilities.
