Course Worker - Greenskeeper

Fullerton Golf Course is an 18-hole public course in North Orange County, California, designed by William F. Bell. Known for its scenic, tree-lined fairways, rolling terrain, and walkable par-67 layout, it offers an enjoyable and approachable golf experience for players of all skill levels. The facility includes a driving range, putting greens, clubhouse, and pro shop, along with instruction, leagues, and tournaments.

We are seeking a full-time Course Worker (Greenskeeper) to support our Golf Course Maintenance team under the supervision of the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. This role assists with the maintenance, construction, and daily conditioning of the golf course to ensure high-quality playing surfaces and a well-presented facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the maintenance and construction of greens, tees, fairways, and roughs, including grading, soil preparation, seeding, and sod work
• Operate light equipment and vehicles such as mowers, trucks, and utility equipment for material transport and debris removal
• Perform daily course maintenance including mowing, irrigation support, fertilization, and turf care
• Maintain bunkers, water hazards, landscaping, trees, shrubs, and course accessories such as cups and tee markers
• Support safe and efficient equipment operation and follow all safety procedures
• Attend team meetings and contribute to a collaborative maintenance environment
• Maintain a professional attitude and courteous interaction with guests and staff

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of golf course maintenance tools, methods, and materials
• Ability to safely operate trucks and motorized equipment
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented work ethic
