Position Overview: Exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Full Charge Bookkeeper to work in a fast paced, growing firm with locations in Atlanta, Georgia, Bedford, New Hampshire and Summerville, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting with expertise in maintaining accurate books and records for clients. As a key member of our team, the Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for reconciling bank/credit card/cash/loan accounts for multiple clients, reviewing reconciliations, processing payroll and communicating directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions for clients in QuickBooks online or QuickBooks desktop
· Bank, credit card and general ledger account reconciliations
· Processing Payroll in Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online
· Payroll Filings: monthly, quarterly and annual federal and state remittances
· Financial statement preparation and analysis
· Check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts and other information
· Prepare work papers and coordinate tax filing with tax preparer/CPA
Qualifications:
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles with at least eight years of bookkeeping experience
· Extensive experience with accounting software with a strong preference for Quickbooks
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook
· Attention to detail along with strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to prepare, review and understand financial statements and documents
· Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
· Must have exceptional organizational skills and a self-starter
