What are the responsibilities and job description for the TENX10 Events and Administrative Coordinator position at Fuller Theological Seminary?
We seek a full-time team-minded Events and Administrative Coordinator with high levels of initiative; judgment and project management skills; and organizational and interpersonal skills. This person should be a highly detailed event coordinator with the ability to anticipate challenges and pivot with changes as well as an enthusiasm for TENx10’s mission, strategies, and goals.
- Operations Support
Documenting and tracking partner participation and engagement.
Drafting and sending out emails to partners and other constituents.
Managing workflows for areas of oversight.
Communicating pertinent details with the TENx10 team.
Execution of assigned project and event details.
Administration of recruiting, coordinating, scheduling, and organizing efforts for gatherings, councils, etc.
Manage research processes where needed.
Event Planning
Identifying TENx10’s requirements and expectations for internal and external events.
Schedule and organize gatherings/events with high attention to detail.
Ensure the gatherings run smoothly by
executing all aspects of TENx10 events including brainstorming themes, processing invoices, working with and managing contracts with vendors and venues, etc.
Evaluate the effectiveness of each event and make changes accordingly.
Hospitality
Provide support for the logistics of onboarding and offboarding processes.
Assist with the maintenance of the team’s internal relational rhythms.
Answer phone calls, emails, and all forms of communication in a warm, cordial, and professional manner.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate records. Organize and maintain the team’s online filing system.
Produce and compile reports.
Team Support
Work closely with the Sr Director of Strategic Operations and Project Manager to execute events effectively.
Support the resource team and partnerships team in recruiting and coordinating various councils and focus groups.
General Administration and Teamwork
Participate in TENx10 team meetings, events, and strategic planning.
Collaborate with the Project Manager and other TENx10 team members to develop effective and efficient systems that support TENx10 constituents.
Take notes when assigned.
Potentially represent TENx10 nationally at various conferences and events as needed and assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
One to three years of event planning and administrative experience
Youth or church ministry experience preferred
Ability to travel domestically 4-5 times a year for various events
Proven ability to provide superb customer service
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer skills, with competence in Google Drive, Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, and high Internet proficiency
Experience in customer relationship management. Broad computer and Internet knowledge and skills required; experience with task management systems preferred
Works well under pressure and can manage pressing requests and situations
Works well in a multicultural environment with a high level of intercultural competency and focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion
Able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize daily workload
High attention to organization, deadlines, accuracy, and details
Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team
Able to work with a diverse remote team and interact with team members via digital task management systems and virtual meeting environments.

Pay Scale
- Wage range the seminary expects to pay: $22.12 - $25.48 per hour USD
