Summary
We are seeking a licensed RDAEF1 to focus on restorative procedures, with the opportunity to ADVANCE to RDAEF2 to join our compassionate dental team at Fuller Smiles. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional dental care, assisting in various procedures, and ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of promoting healthy smiles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures to ensure optimal patient care.
- Perform X-rays and maintain accurate records of patient treatments.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Support pediatric dentistry by providing gentle care tailored to younger patients.
- Implement four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Monitor vital signs and assist with patient comfort throughout their visit.
- Utilize 3D scanning technology as needed for treatment planning.
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Maintain patient records and charts
- Coronal polishing
- Final Impressions
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care
Requirements
- Valid RDAEF1 certification in the state of practice.
- Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
- Proficient in taking X-rays and understanding radiographic principles.
- Knowledge of medical coding is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
