Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Epoxy Installer/Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting epoxy materials and equipment to various job sites, as well as expertly applying epoxy coatings to floors and surfaces. Your expertise in building material installation, interpreting technical drawings, and adhering to safety standards will ensure high-quality results on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, from flooring installation to restoration work, contributing to the transformation of commercial and residential spaces.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport epoxy products, tools, and materials to designated job sites while following all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, or sanding to ensure proper adhesion of epoxy coatings
- Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute installation tasks
- Mix and apply epoxy resins with precision using hand tools and power tools, ensuring consistent coverage and quality finish
- Perform surface preparation activities such as caulking, trimming, and concrete finishing to create optimal conditions for epoxy application
- Assist with other construction tasks including tile laying, cabinet installation, drywall repair, or remodeling as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials in accordance with safety regulations
Experience
- Proven experience in construction estimating, building material installation, or related fields within the construction or restoration industry
- Strong background in flooring installation, tile laying, or water damage restoration projects
- Familiarity with interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project execution
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, carpentry techniques, and blueprint reading
- Knowledge of building installation safety compliance standards and best practices for working on construction sites
- Previous roles involving manual handling of heavy materials and working at heights or confined spaces preferred
- Restoration industry experience including buffing, floor care, caulking, fixture installation, or remodeling is a plus
