What You’ll Do
You’ll play a critical role in keeping our projects financially on track by ensuring invoices are accurate, coded correctly, and paid on time.
- Process vendor invoices for materials, fuel, equipment rentals, and subcontractors
- Match invoices to purchase orders, delivery tickets, and haul tickets
- Code invoices to the correct jobs and cost codes
- Enter invoices accurately into our accounting system
- Assist with weekly check runs and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain vendor records (W-9s, insurance, compliance documents)
- Communicate with vendors, project managers, and internal teams
- Keep organized and audit-ready documentation
- Support month-end close and reporting

- Issues are caught early and resolved quickly
What You Bring
- High school diploma (Associate’s in Accounting or Business is a plus)
- 1–2 years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience
- Construction or job-costing experience strongly preferred
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software
- High attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred Experience
- Construction job cost reports
- Subcontractor compliance and documentation
- Material tickets, haul tickets, and equipment billing
- Electronic invoice processing systems
Work Environment
- Office-based role within a construction company
- Daily interaction with project managers, estimators, and vendors
- Occasional extended hours during month-end or peak season
Who You Are
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
