What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Specialist position at FULL VISION INC?
Reports To: Quality/Safety/CI Coordinator
General Summary:
Ensures that products meet company standards and customer specifications by conducting inspections, tests, and audits throughout the manufacturing process. This role is critical to maintaining high-quality production and minimizing defects.
Essential Functions:
- Document inspection results and maintain detailed quality records.
- Identify non-conforming product work and coordinate with production for corrective actions or rework.
- Conduct routine audits of production operation processes to ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to continuously improve processes and reduce defects.
- Knowledge of production process-laser, bend, weld, and paint application process
- Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products for quality, accuracy, and compliance to dimensional and functional specifications. (Rust, surface, weld defects, etc.) Visual and gauges.
- Identify non-conforming products and initiate corrective actions or rework as necessary.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support quality-related projects.
- Waste water titration and reporting activities
- Other projects and activities as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:Physical Requirements:
- Physical Capacity Profile of Level 3
Position Requirements:
Strong quality inspection background using standard gauges and tools, with preferred CMM experience. Mechanically inclined with solid troubleshooting and analytical abilities, and skilled in reading blueprints. Experienced with audits and quality management systems (QMS), along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator who can work both independently and proactively.
Salary : $25 - $27
