Database Developer

Full Visibility is seeking a Database Developer to work in Huntsville, AL. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret/SCI eligible clearance.

The Database Developer will be responsible for SQL and PL/SQL development to include: developing the backend reports to support user needs; developing custom scripts to automate various database management processes, monitoring and troubleshooting database performance for a mission critical project. The candidate will develop, optimize, and tune stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and queries in support of application development.

The ideal candidate will interface with customers, users, and developers as needed; maintain the database schema, database design, and transition development activities. The Database Developer will also provide technical subject matter expertise (SME) on ingesting into the database from sources such as file systems, and perform maintenance.

Job Requirements:

• Active Top Secret Clearance/with SCI eligibility
  
• At least six (6 ) years of database development experience
  
• Experience with SQL, PL/SQL
  
• Experience with Oracle, Postgres, and/or MongoDB
  
• Experience identifying data strategies, working with stored procedures
  
• Experience working in an Agile environment
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Robust decision-making skills
  
• Bachelor Degree in related field or in lieu of degree 4 additional years of experience
