Utility Engineer (III) - Full Time

What you will be doing 

• Maintain the interior and exterior of the hotel through preventative maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of building systems, equipment, and furnishings.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.

• Respond promptly and professionally to guest and associate maintenance requests, delivering exceptional service and minimizing operational disruptions.

• Support cost-control initiatives by promoting energy and utility efficiency, including monitoring and maintaining heat, power, lighting, water, and sewer systems.

• Uphold all OSHA, safety, and hotel standards while demonstrating professionalism, participating in required meetings, and recommending process improvements that enhance the guest and associate experience.

Position Requirements

• Previous engineering, facilities maintenance, or building maintenance experience required; hospitality experience preferred.

• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical systems with the ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs.

• Ability to read and interpret manuals, work orders, safety procedures, and operating instructions.

• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to supporting guests and associates.

• Ability to perform physical job duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and working a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
