We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. Duties
- Install HVAC systems according to specifications and local codes.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating and cooling equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure proper installation.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and equipment repair.
- Weld components as necessary to ensure secure installations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in using tools for HVAC installation, including ohmmeters and welding equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in appliance repair and field service.
- Ability to read and understand design schematics related to HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for transportation between job sites.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
