Unarmed Security Officer – Staff Protection Services
***MUST BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY***
Location: Ormond Beach, FL
Pay: $18.00/hour
We are hiring an experienced Unarmed Security Officer to provide staff protection services in a professional office environment. This role requires strong situational awareness, excellent communication skills, and a polished, professional presence.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Modified schedule during holidays
Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible, professional presence
- Monitor surroundings and respond to safety concerns
- Observe, document, and report incidents
- Communicate effectively with staff, management, and emergency services
- Use proper radio and phone protocols
- Complete accurate, timely reports
Requirements
- Active unarmed security license (required)
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
- 5 years of security experience
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to write clear, concise reports
- Basic knowledge of civil & criminal law
- Professional appearance and demeanor required
- Stable work history preferred
Professional Standards
- Must remain alert, visible, and engaged
- No fraternization with staff or visitors
- No personal distractions while on duty
