- 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM / 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Position Overview
As a Security Officer, you will help maintain a secure and welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and mall staff. This role is ideal for individuals who are alert, dependable, and experienced in retail security.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols throughout the mall (foot patrol and designated route checks).
- Monitor cameras and surveillance systems and respond appropriately to incidents.
- Deliver excellent customer service by assisting shoppers and tenants with questions or concerns.
- Enforce mall rules and policies with professionalism and consistency.
- Respond promptly to disturbances, safety hazards, and medical emergencies.
- Document incidents and complete accurate daily activity reports.
- Communicate and coordinate with mall management and law enforcement when necessary.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 2 years of security experience, including a minimum of 1 year in retail or mall security.
- Licensing: Current and valid Florida Class D Security License (required).
- Skills: Strong observation and reporting skills; ability to remain composed and effective under pressure.
- Physical Ability: Comfortable standing, walking, and responding quickly during emergencies.
- Availability: Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
