Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing Aloha POS for processing transactions.
- Provide exceptional guest services by anticipating needs and responding to inquiries with professionalism.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards while handling food and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, menus, and service stations.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or hospitality roles, preferably in a restaurant or nightclub setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with upselling techniques and sales strategies to enhance guest experiences.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Experience using TOAST point-of-sale systems is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing excellent service.
